Way back in May 2021 I became an Associate member of the Guild of Railway Artists. This painting was selected for their annual exhibition at the Kidderminster Railway Museum last september, and I’m pleased to say that it sold. In fact, by the time I got to the opening, about an hour after the pre-exhibition private view started, it had already been “red-dotted”.
On top of that, the painting also made it (just) into the top ten of the Picture of the Year selection.
